The Mass is the very tenant of our Catholic faith, so this inability to receive the Eucharist is understandably difficult.
St. Teresa of Avila wrote, "When you do not receive communion and you do not attend Mass, you can make a spiritual communion, which is a most beneficial practice; by it the love of God will be greatly impressed upon you."
Following St. Teresa's wise words, we invite you to make a spiritual communion.

Pray an Act of Spiritual Communion (below.)
AN ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION BY ST. ALPHONSUS LIGOURI
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at
least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already
there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be
separated from You.
Amen.
